Bespoke for Rental

Bespoke for rental allows brides to customise their dream wedding gown without having to break the bank. Here in Chambré, you are able to customise a gown without having to own them.

For brides that are looking to have a wedding gown that is solely theirs, bespoke for purchase is your way to go. Chambré also offers a “Purchase for Rental” service for brides who would like to earn some cash by renting out their wedding gown after their big day.

Purchase for Rental

What

Purchase for Rental is a special service where we help our bespoke brides who are looking to rent out their wedding dresses after their weddings are over.

When

Gowns and cheongams can be displayed for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 24 months after your big day.

Who

To brides, from brides, by brides.

Designed for our firsthand brides according to their measurements and preferences, which will be available for rental to our future brides who are looking to wear something similar.

Where

Gowns and cheongsams will be displayed in Chambré’s warehouse and soon in our studio throughout the rental period.

Why

By helping our bespoke brides rent out their dresses, we want them to know that purchasing a wedding dress doesn’t always end up being a waste once their weddings are over. By displaying past bespoke dresses, it will also allow our future brides to select dresses from a wider range aside from our off-the-rack minimalist designs.

How

Once your wedding is over, you can contact us if you’d like to display your dress for rental. We will get in touch with you more on the rental piece and guide you through the whole process.

Timeline

Bespoke Consultation

Discussion about the Design, Preferences and Fabrics will be conducted via call. A mock up sketch will be drawn for reference

Materials Selection

Upon your approval on the mock-up sketch, our designer will leave a list of recommended materials that can be viewed in our warehouse. During the in-house appointment, measurements will be taken and we will proceed to create a refined sketch

A 20% deposit is required before the refined sketch 

Once the refined sketch is created, we will seek confirmation from you before proceeding with the manufacturing.

A 30% deposit is required to start the project. All deposits are non-refundable.

*Manufacturing duration: ~ 3 months

Draping

Process of a bespoke dress is a very personal experience, and we would like to include you every step of the way. Before all details are finalised, we will be draping them based on what have been discussed to show the ongoing progress of the dress.

Ready for Collection

The dress of your dreams is now ready for collection!

The remaining 50% of the payment is required prior to shipping. The dress will be shipped directly to your doorstep.

*Note: For bespoke for rental service, an additional $300 refundable security deposit is required and will be fully refunded within 3 working days once the rented dress is returned in its original condition. Any damages to the dress will lead to deduction or forfeiture of the deposit, depending on its severity.

Fitting

Because the first fitting will be a self-fitting session, if the dress requires any alterations, please kindly contact us so we can arrange a 2nd fitting with our team.

Over the 2nd fitting session, alterations will be noted down. There will be about 2-3 fittings on average for A-Line or Ballgowns and 3-4 fittings on average for mermaid gowns.

​We would also recommend you to have one final fitting session with us about 3-4 weeks before their actual day to ensure everything fits perfectly.
